The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (or Kate and Wills as they are known to most) took their seats in the Royal Box today to bring a bit of extra glamour to Wimbledon.

Yet on Centre Court their appearance was one of the few highlights for the partisan crowd.

With defending champion Andy Murray in action against 11th seed Grigor Dimitrov it was expected that the Scot would progress through to the semi-finals.

But having not dropped a set up until today's match, Murray couldn't even win one, losing 6-1, 7-6, 6-2.

Having made the effort to come down to SW19, William couldn't disguise his feelings about the defeat for Murray as the clip below shows.

At least with Dimitrov in the semi-finals, there could still be some glamour in the stands.

The Bulgarian 22-year-old is currently dating Maria Sharapova and with the Russian already out, she may stay on at Wimbledon to support her boyfriend.
