Tickets selling out for September's two F1 races

With only seven races to go in a racing season that finishes on November 14, Formula One departs European climes after the Italian GP at Monza on September 12 and commences a three-stop tour of Asia starting at Singapore's Marina Bay on September 26.

After the most recent GP in Belgium, defending champion Jenson Button had enough previous points to hold fourth despite a race retirement, while teammate and British compatriot Lewis Hamilton led the championship with a resurgent Mark Webber a hair's breadth away in second.

Italy's woodland Monza circuit is, along with Spa in Belgium and the famous Monte Carlo track, one of the oldest Formula One tracks in use, dating back to the 1920s.

Race day tickets for the Sunday cost from €125 to €510, depending upon the seating selected, while hospitality options go up to the all-inclusive €1,622 Central Grandstand restaurant package for the weekend. Formula One offers a 3-Day Paddock Club pass for €3,059.

In Singapore, the Marina Bay Street Circuit also channels the spirit of Monaco with road racing that takes in a luxurious harbor location. Among a crop of newer tracks, like the Korean International Circuit and championship finale Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi, Marina Bay has quickly earned a reputation as one of the season's most demanding destinations.

Three-day passes there range from $298 Singaporean dollars (€172) down at the Bay Grandstand, to $3,745 SGD (€2,165) to reserve a place in the prestigious Stamford restaurant suite.

Following Monza and Marina Bay, Formula One heads to Japan and Korea in October, before Brazil's Autodromo on November 7 (previously named Interlagos) and Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi on November 14.
