NFL round-up: Cleveland Browns pull off 25-point comeback against the Tennessee Titans as New England Patriots end unbeaten Cincinnati Bengals run

Brian Hoyer threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Travis Benjamin with 1:09 left as the Cleveland Browns came back from a 25-point deficit to beat the Tennessee Titans 29-28 Sunday in the biggest comeback in club history.

The Browns (2-2) had never rallied from more than 20 points, and easily topped the comeback on Dec. 4, 1966, when Cleveland trailed the Giants 34-14 and won 49-40, according to STATS. It was the biggest road comeback in NFL history.

The Titans (1-4) had a massive collapse — their biggest since moving to Tennessee in 1997.

Jake Locker didn't return after hurting his right thumb in the second quarter, and backup Charlie Whitehurst couldn't protect the big lead.

At New Orleans, Khiry Robinson's tackle-breaking, 18-yard touchdown run in overtime lifted the new Orleans Saints to a 37-31 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Pierre Thomas caught eight passes out of the backfield for 77 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed for 35 yards and a score to help New Orleans (2-3) overcome Drew Brees' three interceptions — and an 11-point deficit in the fourth quarter.

Dan Bailey kicked a 49-yard field goal in overtime for Dallas after a miss at the end of regulation ended his club-record streak of made kicks as the Cowboys edged the Houston Texans 20-17.

Bailey's kick was set up when Tony Romo threw off his back foot with pressure coming and Dez Bryant made a spectacular leaping catch for 37 yards.

The Cowboys (4-1) won their fourth straight for the first time since 2011 despite blowing a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter.

Denver quarterback Peyton Manning joined Brett Favre in the NFL's most exclusive of clubs with his 500th touchdown pass in the Broncos' 41-20 victory over the Arizona Cardinals.

Manning finished with four TD throws, moving him within five of Favre's record 508. Manning found tight end Julius Thomas twice in the end zone, including the touchstone touchdown, a 7-yard dart in the first quarter.

New England's Tom Brady rebounded from the second-worst loss of his career by throwing for two touchdowns and becoming the sixth quarterback to pass for 50,000 yards as the Patriots downed the Cincinnati Bengals 43-17.

Six days after a 41-14 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, the Patriots' offense broke out of its season-long slump. Brady threw for 292 yards and Stevan Ridley gained 117 of the team's 221 yards rushing against a team that had allowed an NFL-low 11 points per game.

The San Diego Chargers blanked the New York Jets 31-0 after Philip Rivers threw two touchdown passes to Antonio Gates and rookie running back Branden Oliver had first two NFL touchdowns, while Colin Kaepernick threw for 201 yards and a touchdown in the San Francisco 49ers 22-17 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

In other games, Cam Newton threw two touchdown passes to Greg Olsen as the Charlotte Panthers edged the Chicago Bears 31-24, the Buffalo Bills beat the Detroit Lions 17-14, the Indiana Colts downed the Baltimore Ravens 20-13 and the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the St. Louis Rams 34-28.

First-round draft pick Odell Beckham Jr. made his NFL debut a memorable one, catching a go-ahead 15-yard touchdown pass from Eli Manning with 10:02 left as the New York Giants downed the Atlanta Falcons 30-20 and the Pittsburgh Steelers were 17-9 winners over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
