Apple Event: The big news in 108 seconds

The launch of three brand new iPhones on top of the existing line up means it's never been more confusing to choose which one to buy.

Between the iPhone XS, the iPhone XS Max and the iPhone XR, Apple is hoping to meet the needs of everyone – or at least everyone with at least £750 to splash on a new phone.

So which iPhone is right for you? We've put together a quiz to help you find exactly which one is best suited to your needs. Try it here:

All new iPhones feature improved specs, however at the top end they also come with a higher price tag. The iPhone XS Max will set you back an eye-watering $1,099 when it goes on sale on 21 September.

The cheapest in the range, the iPhone XR, comes in at a slightly more modest $749.

Fortunately for more thrifty people wanting to buy an iPhone, there is still the option of the iPhone SE. The dinky device comes in the shell of an iPhone 5s but with the specs of the iPhone 6s.

It may not feature the same impressive insides as its descendents, but it is still perfectly useable as an everyday smartphone. And it only costs $350.

It looks like the iPhone SE might not be around that longer, after Apple no longer lists it as an option to buy directly from its website. Instead, people looking for a smaller, cheaper iPhone will have to pick one up from a third-party retailer.
