OUR REVIEW

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

Nestled just a hop-skip from the seafront, it's just a minute to the beach and you'll find a plethora of independent shops and eateries a short walk from the front door. For views of the Sussex Downs, hop on the British Airways i360, the world's tallest moving observation tower, and visible from some of the south-facing rooms.

By car: Brighton is a 2-hour drive from London and Oxford, and 3 hours from Bristol. There are various public car parks by the hotel.

By train: London Victoria and London Bridge to Brighton takes around 1 hour. Book trains to Brighton.

THE LOOK AND FEEL

Perfect for a stylish weekend (or longer) in Brighton, with postcard-perfect views of the seafront and quirky design touches throughout, hidden behind a handsome Georgian facade.

THE FACILITIES

As this is a boutique hotel, there aren't many facilities, but the signature décor and friendly bar and restaurant are the main drawers. There's parking in the secure underground car park available right outside the front door - perfect for if you're bringing the car to explore the surrounding area.

Adorned with fun flourishes, such as a Roberts DAB radio and SMEG fridge containing fresh milk and other goodies, as well as unique art and furnishings, each individually-styled room has a home-away-from-home feel, and you'll find organic Bramley products in the bathrooms.

FOOD AND DRINK

The restaurant and bar are buzzy neighbourhood hangouts, serving up delicious food from breakfast to dinner. Our favourite breakfast dish was a Korean-twisted version of the classic smoked salmon and poached egg on bread, the Kimchi Royale - definitely worth waking up for.

Clubhouse: Mediterranean-inspired dishes, small plates, pop-up dining experiences, cocktails. Open daily for breakfast, Mon-Sat for lunch and Thu-Sat for dinner. Drinks and bar snacks available daily 12pm until late.
