A major London Underground line was suspended today because of a 24-hour strike.

The Victoria Line was halted at 9pm last night by a walk-out of members of the Rail Maritime and Transport union. There have been several disputes with the union complaining that its members have been harassed.

Transport for London says tickets are being accepted on buses and overground trains. All other London Tube lines were this morning reporting a good service.
