'Cuddle class' – the cosier way to fly

A new design that allows three economy seats to be turned into a bed has been unveiled by Air New Zealand.

By retracting the armrests, the three seats convert into a "Skycouch", on which two passengers can stretch out. Industry commentators have nicknamed the arrangement, which allows a couple to pay half price for the third seat in the same row, "cuddle class".
