Destination St Lucia

First Choice (tel: 0870 750 0001) is offering return flights to St Lucia, departing from Gatwick on 5 November, returning 19 November, for £199 per person.

Caribbean fortnight

First Choice (tel: 0870 750 0001) has availability on its 7 November departure from Manchester to the Dominican Republic for a 14-night holiday. The price is £589 per person, based on two sharing, staying in a three-star, all-inclusive hotel, which is allocated on arrival.

Mombasa made easy

Book by 31 October with British Airways Holidays (tel: 0870 6000 500) for departures between 15 November and 10 December to the four-star Indian Ocean Beach Club in Mombasa for £599 per person, based on two sharing. The price includes return flights from Gatwick, transfers and half-board accommodation.

Duck-and-mouse deals

The Walt Disney Travel Company (tel: 0870 24 24 910) has reduced adult fares on a selection of holidays at its World Resort in Florida. For departures from 13 November-10 December, a 14-night stay at the Doubletree Club Hotel on Lake Buena Vista has been reduced by £300 to £729 per adult. A 14-night flydrive to Orlando, departing at the same time, starts from £369 per adult, saving £230. Both deals include return flights. Children from £229.

Great outdoors

Okehampton Youth Hostel (tel: 01837 55602) has places for over-16s on its two-day navigation course from 11 November. The price is £96 per person, including full-board accommodation.
