The price of £456 per person includes TAP flights from Heathrow to Lisbon for Thursday to Monday departures between 17 January and 25 February, four nights' B&B, one three-course dinner, wine tasting, a spa session and car hire, so you can explore the Alentejo countryside (sunvil.co.uk/alentejo).
Icelandic adventure
Secret Escapes has a four-night break to Iceland for £737pp (or, on some dates, less), if you book by Tuesday 8 January and travel from 13 January to 30 March. The deal includes Wow Air flights from Gatwick, B&B at the Radisson Blu hotel in Reykjavik, transfers and three activities: the Golden Circle Tour, a Northern Lights Excursion and a South Shore Excursion (secretescapes.com).
Moroccan marvel
Alleviate the January gloom with a dose of winter warmth. Departures between 9 January and 16 February (thomascook signature.com).
French fancy
