The tour

Sunsail has announced the opening of a new base in Spain. Bareboat and skippered yacht charters will be offered from Palma de Mallorca for Balearic cruises from May (sunsail.co.uk).

The hotel

Los Angeles has a new hotel. The Sirtaj is located in Beverly Hills, close to Rodeo Drive, and has a bijou collection of 32 rooms, plus the requisite cocktail lounge (sirtajhotel.com).

The website

StaysAtFriends.com is a new community-based holiday accommodation website.Spare beds, rooms or properties are offered online, but only between friends, or friends-of-friends.
