The opening of Amanresorts' Villa Milocer in Montenegro materialises on Monday. The former royal residence completes the first stage of the restoration of Sveti Stefan (amanresorts.com). Genoa might seem a fitting location for the Circumnavigando Festival. But rather than a celebration of its continent-exploring progeny, this festival showcases circus and street theatre, from 18-26 December (circumnavigando.com). Also defying the wintry weather is Turin, where the streets will be illuminated by an open-air exhibition of light installations until 11 January (comune.torino.it).
