Travel agenda: New super-resort set to open in Macau

Galaxy Macau, a new super-resort for the city known as the 'Las Vegas of the east' opens May 15, bringing a new level of glamor to Macau. After that, it's all eyes on the real Las Vegas, which will host the big names of the travel industry for a two-day summit from May 17.

A new super-resort for Macau opens, bringing three new hotels and a huge casino to the state already known as the Las Vegas of the east. Look out for the development's unique 52,000-square-meter Grand Resort Deck, where a 350-ton white sand beach surrounds  the 4,000-square-meter Skytop Wave Pool.
