Travel Agenda: Spanish and Latin American Film Festival; Waldorf Astoria in Syon Park; La Dolce Vita; Eight Weeks to Go campaign

Today: The Spanish and Latin American Film Festival gets under way in Manchester. Viva! will be showing films from Spain to Argentina and Uruguay, including 80 Days, as well as a British film on Mexican-American identity in San Diego. This week: After a minor hitch (a Roman settlement was unearthed in the grounds during construction), the Waldorf Astoria is opening in Syon Park in west London on Tuesday.
