Every week we invite competing companies to give us their best deal for a specific holiday. Today: a seven-night holiday in the Caribbean out of season. Prices are per person, based on two travelling together in mid-July.

Tropical Sky

£1,359: Almond Beach Village, Barbados. Includes scheduled flights departing Gatwick on 16 July, transfers and all-inclusive accommodation at the four-star resort.

"Spread over 32 acres of landscaped gardens, this resort features extensive land and water-based activities and a great selection of dining. Especially suited to families, it offers four age-specific children's clubs and a teenage centre," says Steve Garley at Tropical Sky (0870 907 9600; tropicalsky.co.uk).

BA Holidays

£989: Flamboyant Hotel and Villas, Grenada. Includes BA flights departing Gatwick on 18 July and all-inclusive accommodation at the three-star resort.

"Set above the Grand Anse Beach, stunning views are available from all rooms in this friendly, relaxed hotel; there's a saving of over £200 per person if booked by 30 June 2010," says Tracy Long at BA Holidays (0844 493 0758; ba.com/caribbean).

Caribtours

£2,356: One&Only Ocean Club, Bahamas. Includes BA flights departing Heathrow on 20 July and room-only accommodation in a garden view room at the five-star resort.

"With year-round sunshine and gorgeous beaches, the Caribbean offers incredible value for money in the summer. This discount of £405 is a fantastic saving at One&Only Ocean Club, where first-class luxury and superb facilities are second to none," says Steve Stewart at Caribtours (020-7751 0660; caribtours.co.uk).
