This week saw the opening of two high-profile luxury properties in London, along with the official inauguration of Chicago's first JW Marriott and the first hotel on Morocco's new Mogador development.

This 126-room property is located in the center of Bogota's shopping and cultural districts, offering 126 guest rooms, a "living wall" in the lobby, a restaurant, lounge bar and fitness center.

JW Marriott's latest property brings another top-end hotel to the Windy City and held its official opening this week with a glittering celebration. The hotel offers 610 guestrooms, a 1,850 square meter spa, two restaurants and a fitness center.

San Jose, CA, US

This sleek new property features 164 rooms decked out with all the mod-cons you'd expect from a Silicon Valley hotel such as iPod docking stations, flatscreen TVs with expanded cable and an interactive business lounge. There's also an open-air bar and restaurant and two fitness centers.
