This week, the Hugo Brehme and the Mexican Revolution exhibition at the Franz Mayer museum in Mexico City hits halfway point, giving tourists and locals just under a month to see the photos celebrating the centenary of the Mexican Revolution and the bicentenary of independence.

Before the outbreak, tourist arrivals to the country had grown by 5.9 percent in 2008, and the World Travel and Tourism Council predicts that a sharp rebound will be seen over the next two years.
