FURTHER to recent correspondence on finding good, cheap accommodation in the Calais area, Peter Smith of Huddersfield recommends looking for a chambre d'hote. 'An excellent one is Aux Campagnes at Pihem on the D928, just off the autoroute. The bedrooms are large and clean with all facilities. Dinner, bed, breakfast and drinks cost about pounds 50 for two people.'
