YOU CAN fly to Dublin and back from one of nine British airports for pounds 33.17 - if you are travelling with a family. A new deal on Aer Lingus (0645 737747) provides six tickets for pounds 199, but the make-up of the family is critical: two adults, two children under 18 and, optionally, two under-twos. No advance booking is required, but you must stay away at least one Saturday night. Maximum holiday time for the deal is one month.

If you do not conform to the family specification, Aer Lingus also has a pounds 69 return fare from Heathrow to the Irish capital.
