EXPLORERS TOURS (0753 681999) has published details of the 1993 prices for Amtrak rail passes. Regional passes start at pounds 85; a national pass offering coast-to-coast travel costs pounds 115 for 15 days and pounds 170 for 30 days. Amtrak has announced that from next April it is extending the Sunset Limited service from New Orleans to Miami, providing a through route from California to Florida.
