NEXT SPRING, Cox & Kings (071-931 9106) will be running its first train journey across Russia. Hauled by steam and diesel engines, the company's first tour will take two weeks and cover 5,000 miles, visiting nine cities, including St Petersburg, Moscow, Volgograd (formerly Stalingrad) and Astrakhan and ending in Uzbekistan. Prices will be announced next month.
