The story of a Yorkshire housewife who spent five years in her childhood with monkeys and then trafficked for prostitution is to be told for the first time.

It's been reported that Marina Chapman lived with a colony of capuchin monkeys in Colombia, after being abandoned by kidnappers.

She could apparently catch birds and rabbits with her bare hands after living with the monkeys.

After living there for five years, she was discovered in the jungle by hunters, who then sold her to a brothel.

Marina's book about her life has already been sold in several countries and will be published in the UK next year.

She and her family are also to tell the story in a television documentary to help highlight the horrors of human trafficking in South America.
