I AM writing to express my disgust at the article about Virginia Bottomley ('Virginia's early summer of love', 12 July). I abominate Mrs Bottomley's politics, her party and all that goes with it, but her private life, unless it is criminal - and you don't suggest that do you? - is no concern of ours or yours.
