NEWSPAPERS have few opportunities to give front-page coverage to news items of unrestrained joy. What a pity that you misused the occasion with your miserable and carping article ('Abbie: tears cheers - and questions for the police', 17 July). If it should be necessary to question police procedures in this case, then a later date would always have been more suitable for a report of the enquiry.
