Nina Hall's article about women physicists was timely ("Women want to know the secrets of the universe, too", 16 March). The strand of faux-feminism which insists that women have gentle minds and don't really want to deal with nasty, abstract ideas deserves to be ridiculed. Desire to create elegant explanatory theories is a manifestation of human creativity: women should think twice before colluding in male attempts to hog all the good things in life.
