Letter: Boozer's blues

Philip Norman mentions that those who grew up between the Thirties and Fifties will 'especially remember' the stage comedian Jimmy Wheeler, 'the 'drunk' comedian, pursuing his cigarette with his mouth'.

I'm afraid that I especially remember that this drunk character was actually played by Jimmy James who died in 1965. Ironically, he was a staunch teetotaller off-stage.
