IAN AITKEN can hear Karl Marx's gleeful "raucous laughter" from Highgate cemetery about the free market experience in Russia ("God save Mother Russia", 6 September). Maybe Messrs Marx and Aitken can name the nations in the world and its history, apart from "Britain in 1945", where a socialist economy has triumphed. Cuba and North Korea, presumably?
