Letter: BSE is rife in dairy herds so why don't we worry about milk?

Sir: Can the Germans, French, Austrians and Italians guarantee that they have not already nor will in the future incur BSE in their cattle?

Their lands adjoin those of Switzerland where some zoo cases have been notified to date. What goes on please?
