Letter: Gays and God

Sir: Tim Beach writes (letter, 2 May): "A good God cannot have created in us a powerful gay sex drive just to punish us for acting on it." Would he find this argument for sexual action as convincing were "child-love" to be put in the place of the word "gay"?
