Letter: How to deal with bird women and feral pigeons

Sir: As a member of a pest species that overpopulates the planet, destroys nature ad nauseam, pollutes the atmosphere, the rivers and the seas to an almost irreversible state and calls the idle killing of creatures "sport", I am only too happy that one of my kind has shown a little compassion towards that other and much maligned "pest", the pigeon. May Jean Knowlson live long and prosper.
