THE ARTICLE "Bare-knuckle is all the rage" (19 September) states "Many of the bouts are sponsored by Masonic Lodges ...". This is wholly untrue. Bare-knuckle fights are illegal. Freemasons obligate themselves to uphold the law, and lodges would not sponsor illegal events. To suggest that they would is a gross slur on a lawful and law-abiding association.
