Sir: The unexpected reprieve of Rachel Whiteread's House gave my wife and I the opportunity to visit it last Saturday. What we found even more amazing than the sculpture itself was that Tower Hamlets Council has completely missed the opportunity House has given it.

There was no information provided about other attractions or places of interest in Tower Hamlets: not even any general information about Bow, the successes and the challenges.

We can therefore only assume that there is nothing of interest and nothing to go back for.
