I SHARE Peter J Offord's view (Letters, 16 May). When it is evident to any thinking person how ineffectual and counter-productive Nato's action is, why is no one stopping them? Apart from your exemplary newspaper where is the effective opposition to this lunacy? Like Mr Offord, I am ashamed of my country's participation in the blind savagery and stupidity of Nato's assault on Yugoslavia. If only those responsible for such carnage and folly would listen.
