As residents of Willesden, we were appalled at the swipe delivered to us poor people by your restaurant reviewer Daisy Waugh. Her patronising and snobbish attitude was beyond belief.
Who would argue that the High Road can compete with the West End? For Willesdeners it unfortunately is vaut le voyage for the daily necessities of life. A visit to Sabras is indeed a high point in our impoverished existence.
Perhaps Ms Waugh should have despatched the beleaguered Patrick to fetch her a takeaway from Sabras, to be enjoyed in more rarefied surroundings, thus avoiding the need for that traumatic expedition to NW10.
