Letter: Powers of the Attorney General
Sir: Would it not be easier to determine if the Attorney General's advice to ministers in the matter of public interest immunity (PII) certificates (and the action of ministers in signing them) was constitutionally correct if we had a written constitution? At least we'd know what the principles of government are.
