Sir: John O'Farrell, the scriptwriter of Spitting Image, must lack an understanding of the Christian mystery of the Holy Trinity, since he refers to 'a pecking order' between God and his Divine Son. Although the Spitting Image presentation of Jesus is offensive to some people, as it is to me, our response should be Jesus's response to his detractors: 'Father, forgive them: for they know not what they do.'
