KEITH LANGFORD has chosen an unfortunate example. Stonehenge is at an awkward junction of the A303 and the A344: quite the wrong place for the motorist to take his eye off the road. Good views elsewhere, such as the M5 at Countess Weir near Exeter, have had to be shielded from the gaze of the inattentive driver. A pity, but justified in the interests of reducing accidents.
