Letter: Why doesn't the Post Office want our money?

Sir: I have just read the letters from Sarah Lawson and T. H. Gibson (27 April) about the National Savings Bank and I and my colleagues agree with everything they say.

We have complained each time the minimum deposit was raised, for the same reasons, but, you see, the Department of National Savings is a government department, run by the Government, for the Government, so, of course, they don't listen to us mere mortals.

Yours faithfully,

D. C. T. OSBORNE
