Arthouse cinema chain Curzon has announced a new programme of curated films and digital director Q&As as they look to keep business going amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Among the filmmakers lined up for talks include Ruben Ostland, Celine Sciamma, Andrew Haigh and Joanna Hogg.

As part of its On Demand service, called Curzon Home Cinema, the cinema chain are also organising simultaneous viewings, where self-isolating cinemagoers are encouraged to all watch the same film at the same time.

The series launches today, Friday 27 March, with the acclaimed System Crasher, which will be followed by a live Q&A with director Nora Fingscheidt. Curzon is suggesting that people watch along together from 6.45pm (GMT).
