Stereo Honey have dropped a brand new track ahead of what is set to be a massive 2018.

The London four-piece may only have a few tracks to their name but they're all certifiable bangers: haunting indie-rock that recalls bits of Radiohead, The Boxer Rebellion, and a slightly more upbeat Raised By Swans. The Independent saw them at a Halloween gig with Anteros and Yonaka and they are fantastic live; frontman Pete Restrick's supple croons are superb.

We're premiering their brand new track "Through The Dark" off their upcoming EP Monuments, check it out below:

Q&A with Stereo Honey

1) What are you listening to at the moment?

2) What are your plans for 2018?

3) What was the first gig you played and what's been the best so far?

Pete Restrick ( Vocals / Guitars )

Post Malone

Gig till we drop and release more tunes!

The best gig we’ve ever played was at community festival in Finsbury Park. It was incredible!

Nicky Boiardi ( Guitars / Keys)

I'm loving both new albums from Moses Sumney and Nai Palm! Also a fair bit of Björk and Tool...

To keep growing as a songwriter...and not get fired from my pizza delivery job.

When I was at university in Leeds I played what I'd call my first proper gig at the now defunct venue Full Circle on Kirkstall Road, which was amazing because there was also an art exhibition on, so the place was packed with creatives.

So far my favourite show was playing Community Festival in Finsbury Park. It was a gorgeous day, and although we had some technical issues we managed to get through it and not let it interfere with our first outdoor gig experience.

Jake Black ( Drums )

1) At the moment I’m listening to a lot of Jazz (as always) but more specifically I’ve been listening to loads of Robert Glasper. He de man.

2) 2018 is the year for the band to really push up a gear. It’s also the final year of my degree so it’s going to be a busy one. Juggling the two has been bearable so far, but in the new year things will start to heat up so we will see how that pans out *gulp*.

3) Brixton Electric [supporting The Naked and the Famous] has probably been one of my favourites. We got our first cheer as we walked on stage, it was amazing, I felt like a drummer actually worth listening to!

Ben Edwards ( Bass )

I am listening to a variety of things at the moment; namely an amazing Belgian Jazz singer called Melanie de Biasio and the band Tool.

Focus is on the band, lots of shows coming up in 2018 and working on new songs. Really excited to be playing Eurosonic Festival in January which will be our first show out of the UK.

The first gig I ever played was with Nicky at a school Talent Show when we were 14. We covered ‘Soul to Squeeze’ by Red Hot Chili Peppers! The best Stereo Honey show so far for me has either been at Community Festival or Electric Brixton, it was a real honour to play bigger stages like those.
