Billie Eilish reveals she considered taking her own life

Billie Eilish has reportedly been granted a five-year civil harassment restraining order against a stalker.

According to E! News, the 19-year-old won the order after alleging that John Hearle was camping out opposite her family home in Highland Park, Los Angeles.

Eilish claimed that Hearle also perched on a fence to look into her house, and that the 23-year-old had made a threatening “throat-slitting” gesture toward her.

The “bad guy” singer had initially obtained a temporary restraining order against Hearle last month, however, it was reportedly extended last Thursday (4 March) when the temporary order was due to expire.

According to legal documents obtained by NBC News, Eilish accused Hearle of frequently watching her enter and exit her home while saying indiscernible things in a “low and disturbing voice”.

In another incident, Hearle allegedly sent a letter to Eilish that said: “You can’t get what you want, unless what you want is to die for me... You will die. What are you dying for?”

In her request for a restraining order, Eilish said: “I no longer feel safe going outside my home and enjoying basic physical exercise in my neighbourhood, as he could attempt to approach and hurt me. Every time I see him I just want to scream.”

Last year, the Grammy winner obtained a three-year restraining order against 24-year-old Prenell Rousseau who had appeared at her family home seven times before being arrested for trespassing.
