Jay Z’s recent foray into the music streaming business with Tidal has come under criticism from both fans and artists alike.
Mr Carter has barely said a word on the matter… until now.
The "99 problems" rapper decided to tackle the critics head on, projecting his stream of consciousness onto Twitter.
It was recently reported how Tidal had crashed out of the top 700 US apps download chart and coincidently boosted Spotify sales.
Critics of the service have included folk rockers Mumford & Sons who said Tidal was being run by “new school f**king plutocrats” and would not benefit rising artists.
Artists whose music is on the service have the ability to see who is listening to their music. This has led to both Jay Z and former White Stripes frontman Jack White calling on their fans to provide "the best customer service ever".
Jay Z, however, failed to comment on the sacking of Tidal's CEO and how replacement Peter Tonstad, formerly of the Norwegian Ministry of Environment, will further the service.
