Over the past 24 hours, Kanye West's Twitter feed has been ablaze with breaking news, bold announcements and one hell of a heated spat.

As well as recently branding his new record Waves - formerly known as SWISH - "the greatest album of all time", he has now provided fans with another inkling as to what to expect when the LP finally drops in February.

Bet you weren't expecting that.

His statement came in the aftermath of a Twitter argument with fellow rapper Wiz Khalifa which was prompted when the latter appeared to criticise West's decision to change his album title to Waves.

He has since removed the tweets, citing "positive energy" as the reason.

West's follow-up to 2013's Yeezus was initially called So Help Me God before being changed to SWISH last May.

Quite why he's changed it again so close to release is unclear, but with the announcement came an amended track list:

Waves will be released on 11 February, featuring tracks "Good Friends" and the previously released Kendrick Lamar collaboration "No More Parties in LA."
