US rapper Diddy is adding to his collection of side projects with an animated TV series.
The artist, real name Sean Combs, is behind a comedy series described as South Park set in inner-city Detroit.
But rather than following Cartman, Kenny, Kyle and Stan, Diddy’s show Brightmoor will follow the African American pupils at Brightmoor Elementary School, Deadline reports.
The series has been created by former King of the Hill writer Chip Hall and Detroit comedian Chris Powell, aka Comedian CP.

Combs, who has previously been known as P Diddy and Puff Daddy, will produce the show for US network FX, which already broadcasts popular animated series Archer.
Diddy’s other side projects away from the music industry have included his own clothing line Sean John, a men’s perfume “I Am King” dedicated to Barack Obama, Muhammad Ali and Martin Luther King, and two restaurants called Justin’s.
Combs also launched cable music channel Revolt TV in 2013 with the aim of it being the “first channel of the social media age”.
He claimed the channel would fill the gap left by MTV after it stopped playing music seven years ago.
