It's probably a great time to refresh your memory on The Walking Dead considering season 7 begins tomorrow. Fortunately, British actor John Cleese is on hand to help.

The Fawlty Towers star has - for some bizarre reason that we're not complaining about - recapped the first six seasons of the show in four short minutes.

It's a lovingly tongue-in-cheek look at the characters and events that have shaped AMC's zombie drama since it began in 2010.

In the clip, Cleese describes lead character Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) as "Clint Eastwood but a bit more sensitive" while fan favourite Daryl (Norman Reedus) is branded a "violent little sweetheart."

Season 7's premiere episode - titled 'The Day Will Come When You Won't Be' - is set to reveal who Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) killed in the closing moments of season 6. You can find a list of all the candidates here.

You can watch The Walking Dead Season 7 with a NOW TV Entertainment Month Pass for just £6.99 per month.
