Season six of The Walking Dead draws to a close in the UK tonight having aired its finale in the States yesterday evening (3 April).

Considering it's one of the most unpredictable shows on television (move over, Game of Thrones), it was no surprise to see it was as nail-biting and tense as fans were expecting.

It's become increasingly clear over the course of the past eight episodes that - with the impending arrival of Negan (played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan) - one of the show's beloved characters probably won't be making it out of the season alive.

Negan's arrival has been teased for what feels like an age with cast members Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes) and Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon) wading in on the effect the villain's presence will have on the series.
