Seven habits people are most likely to judge you for

Maybe the way you eat a burger is "absolutely intolerable"

Some people would openly admit they’re more judgemental than others. But even the most open-minded amongst us probably have at least a few things they’d judge people for doing.

It’s often the little things that annoy you most - the pet peeves that unexplainably drive you up the wall.

People are now sharing the habits they most judge others for in a Reddit discussion, from lack of paragraphs to loud chewing.

The top response may or may not come as a surprise to you - people not keeping their trolleys with them in supermarkets:

“Leave their cart in the middle of the damn grocery aisle while they look at stuff on the shelves. MOVE, PEOPLE,” one angry person wrote.

Many agreed, and it wasn’t just in the aisles that neglected trolleys cause annoyance: “Leave their cart in the middle of an empty parking spot because they can't be bothered to bring it back,” one person added.

Perhaps people desert their trolleys because they’re running late - nearly 2,000 members of the discussion admitted they judge people who are consistently late.

And another thing? Writing style. Whether in a blog post, comment or text, you may be judged if you don’t use paragraphs:

“People that write a wall of text with no paragraphs,” one person put forward. “I don't mind reading, but if you wrote a mini novella with zero line breaks, I'm not reading it.”

Similarly, bad grammar could be causing you to go down in your friends’ estimations: “Bad grammar and spelling on social media is annoying,” one person wrote.

As important it is not to piss off your mates, it’s probably wise not to do anything that’ll annoy your colleagues either. Even if you think your actions won’t affect them, they may judge you for it, as one person explained:

“Co-workers that don't use up their personal time/vacation time before the end of the year. I get it. You love your job/are responsible/hard working. But you're a f***ing idiot because you're essentially losing free money.”

If your holiday allowance rolls over, fair enough. But if not, people will be judging you.

And whether you’re throwing empty burger boxes out of your car window or leaving your sandwich wrapping on benches, many people reserve a special place in hell for litterers:

“Especially in food courts in malls where there are dozens of bins everywhere and all they'd have to do is take their tray to the bin they are going to pass right by as they leave, but instead choose to leave all their s*** there on the table for someone else to worry about,” one person explained.

In fact, one of the most annoying things you can do in the eyes of many comes whilst eating: the dreaded loud chewing.

“I honestly get this near unstoppable urge to kill you,” one person wrote.

And many backed them up: “Agreed. Absolutely intolerable.”
