Brad Pitt attacker Vitalii Sediuk wears T-shirt of the actor for community service
Former Ukrainian TV presenter Vitalii Sediuk attacked Pitt at a film premiere last month
He was handed 20 days of community service after attacking Brad Pitt at a film premiere last month – but Vitalii Sediuk clearly hasn’t lost his sense of humour.
The former Ukrainian TV presenter was spotted in Griffith Park in Los Angeles on Wednesday sporting a T-shirt emblazoned with none other than Pitt himself.
And this was not just any image of the Inglourious Basterds actor: this was a picture of a youthful, sun-kissed, open-shirted Pitt.
Sediuk attacked the actor last month at the premiere of Maleficent, which stars Pitt’s partner Angelina Jolie. He lunged at the 50-year-old and punched him in the face, breaking his designer sunglasses.
He pleaded no contest to battery and unlawful activity at a sporting or entertainment event and has since been sentenced to three years’ probation - including 20 days community service - and instructed to attend a year's psychological counselling.
Sediuk was also ordered to stay 500 yards (457 metres) away from all celebrity events, including awards and premieres, and has been banned from being near Pitt and Jolie.
Speaking about the incident, Pitt told People: “I don't mind an exhibitionist.
“But if this guy keeps it up he's going to spoil it for the fans who have waited up all night for an autograph or a selfie, because it will make people more wary to approach a crowd."
Sediuk has gained a reputation as a serial red carpet prankster.
In January at the SAG Awards, he hugged Bradley Cooper round the waist, with his face pushed into the actor’s crotch. He tried a similar move on Leonardo DiCaprio at the Santa Barbara Film Festival in February.
And at the Cannes Film Festival he dived under America Ferrera’s dress on the red carpet.
Referring to that incident, Pitt told People: “And he should know, if he tries to look up a woman's dress again, he's going to get stomped.”
Pitt is currently in London where he is supporting Jolie at the global summit to End Sexual Violence in Conflict.
