Police in Glasgow have launched an investigation into allegations of fraudulent voting in Glasgow.
Officers will probe claims that someone entered a polling station in Glasgow East, and marked a ballot paper under another person’s name, PA reported.
The presiding office in the constituency reported the alleged incident to the police earlier today.

Counting staff have been told to look out for the paper in question when ballot boxes arrive at the Emirates Area.
Those attempting to find the paper will be wearing blue gloves. When they find it, it will be counted, sealed, and bagged up before being handed over to the police, according to Glasgow City Council.
PA reporter Lucy Christie tweeted a photo of a woman donning a pair of blue gloves as she prepared to find the paper.
