15-year-old girl makes $1,100 selling naked pictures of herself online

A 15-year-old girl has reportedly admitted to selling naked pictures and videos of herself online for a year, earning more than $1,100.

The teenager, from Gaines Township in Michigan, was found out by her mother, who reported to the police.

According to West Michigan news outlet FOX17, the girl told detectives she had been selling the nude images for about a year, and had four or five “customers” in the last month.

She also reportedly said she had repeat customers.

The images and videos were sent to “customers” through her Gmail account, according to FOX17.

According to media outlet WLNS, court records obtained by 24 Hour News 8 showed the girl sold the pictures to people she met through chat app, Kik.

Court records reportedly indicate the girl charged between $20 and $100 for the images, which customers paid for through PayPal.

The year-long business came to an end when the teenager’s mother found out and contacted the police.

Kent County Sheriff’s Office told FOX17 there was a “significant increase in these type of crimes”, especially those involving children on social media.

No arrests have been made and an investigation is underway.
