The Boulder Police Department has revealed the names of the 10 people killed during a mass shooting at a King Soopers grocery store in Boulder, Colorado, with local police officer Eric Talley, 51, among the victims.
The youngest victim was 20 years old and the oldest victim was 65 years old. Their families were notified shortly after 3am local time on Tuesday morning after all victims were identified by police.
Police also revealed the identity of the 21-year-old suspect. He was currently in the hospital seeking medical treatment but in stable condition, police said. He is expected to be released from the hospital and transported to Boulder County Jail later on Tuesday.
The suspect was charged with 10 counts of murder following the attack that started at 3pm local time on Monday. Eyewitnesses described a male gunman in tactical gear opening fire in silence on terrified shoppers.
“We had a very tragic incident today,” Chief Yamaguchi said on Monday. “There was loss of life, we have multiple people who were killed in this incident, and I am sorry to have to report that one of them was a Boulder police officer.”

“Ten lives lost, a law enforcement officer killed, and another community forever changed. This kind of senseless gun violence cannot continue.”

The Boulder Police Department will hold a press conference regarding the shooting that took place at a King Soopers grocery store at 8:30am local time.
Colorado Governor Jared Polis said he would be attending the press conference.

The Boulder Police Department waited until Tuesday to reveal the names of the 10 people who died on Monday during the shooting at a Boulder King Soopers.
The oldest victim was 65 years old and the youngest victim was 20 years old.

Suspect suffered leg wound from mass shooting
The 21-year-old suspect suffered a “through and through” leg wound on Monday, indicating a gunshot wound.
Police said they could not confirm if the wound happened while gunfire was exchanged between the suspect and responding officers.
No known motive was revealed during the press conference, as police said the investigation was ongoing.
The suspect is from Arvada, Colorado, and believed to have “lived in the United States for most of his life.”

Boulder police said the suspect was from Arvada, Colorado, and had a local address.

He was charged with 10 counts of murder in the first degree.
